Community activities

Through Pascal Street Community Trust we are involved in the following activities.

Mainly Music

Meets Thursdays during term-time at 10.00 am in the Oval Room. A chance for preschoolers and their parent/caregiver to come and enjoy an hour of musical fun with instruments, movement, rhymes and props followed by a time to chat over morning tea while the children play. Cost $3 per family per session -  your first visit is free so come along! Contact Rachel ph 3589862

ESOL

We offer a weekly conversation class for any women in the community whose first language is not English.  Meets Wednesdays during term time - 10.00am-11.30am in the Matai room. We talk about everyday topics, learn new vocabulary and work on pronunciation.  We also add some practical aspects to the classes by visiting the supermarket, cooking, going to the bank, etc.  To find out more, call us at the CCC office or just come along.

Crewe Community Garden

“Our vision is to create a vibrant community hub where neighbours are collectively involved in various sustainable living initiatives that provide healthy food, encourage social connections, and reduce family food budgets. A community garden achieves many of the goals that the group have.”
