CCC Values...

Authenticity and Integrity

We believe that a person's character is more important than their gifting, and that honesty is more important than appearances.

Relationship and Community

We believe in being co-dependant and in intimate relationship with each other rather than being isolated individuals. As a fellowship we aim to be family rather than producing a slick performance. We believe restoration comes through being part of community.

Celebrating Diversity

As a family and community we celebrate diversity, not uniformity. Our passion is not to create clones of ourselves, but rather to see people released into their own unique potential. Our congregation is cross-cultural and multi-generational. Our church body includes every age group from infants, children, teenagers, students, families and seniors. All are welcome and we aim to meet the needs of every specific age group represented in a variety of ways.

Mystery and Spirituality
We believe that central to our life purpose is knowing God, yet we endeavour to never forget that we don’t know it all! We believe we are here with others, to know God and discover the purposes of life together.
Service and Generosity
We strive to be a community that gives generously to the community surrounding us in our time, energy and finance. The world we live in is in need of a people who will serve without expectation of payment or recognition, but instead serves for the simple joy of serving.

Discipleship and Destiny

We believe we all have the ability to affect history with our lives by investing in people. As such we seek to be a place where people, young and old, are not only loved and trusted, but also trained and released with opportunities to grow. We believe each person has a God designed destiny and through discipleship we long to see each person walking with authority into their unique destiny.

Why we are here...

A primary aim of our congregation is to serve the community of Palmerston North. A well functioning facility will enhance our ability to serve the community by providing local schools and community groups access to a well equipped building for events and seminars. It is our desire that our facilities are used by the community on a wide whole, not singularly for our congregational needs.
Our facilities cater to all types of events from functions such as weddings and funerals, to smaller Community and Small project groups. We have excellent Kitchen spaces ideal for catering purposes and no matter the size of the event or conference, as we have a space to suit.
